Help the DSIA raise funds to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome in our local area by walking with us! Gather your friends, family and colleagues for this fun-filled day featuring kid’s activities, a concert by Chris Burke and his band and a resource fair. Professionals, businesses and community members welcome to participate in this family event! The walk is only 1 mile long, and proceeds benefit local programs!
The Down Syndrome Information Alliance's 4th annual Buddy Walk is an event to raise funds for programs that have a direct impact on people with Down syndrome and their families in our local area. This “fun walk” is only 1 mile long but together our efforts span much further. We build awareness, unite our community and raise funds to provide educational, advocacy and social programs right here in our community.
Form a team or come alone.
If you bring a buddy and encourage your buddy to bring a buddy and so on, then more people will see that people with Down syndrome are “more alike than different.”
This year’s fundraising goal is $50,000!
If 500 people attend, and each gets $100 I pledges, we will achieve our goal! Please help us by joining the 2008 Buddy Walk and REGISTER TODAY by clicking here! Or, download a registration for by clicking here.
